Courage!

Updated: Dec 27, 2020

In 2015, I suffered a devastating, disabling medical condition. In the picture on the left, I was

unable to speak, swallow, or breathe without the tracheostomy in my neck and I was very weak physically and much weaker mentally and spiritually. After numerous surgical procedures and many prayers, the trach was removed and I regained some sound to my voice. In the picture on the left, I appear to be much stronger physically; however, I am not a whole lot stronger in my body. This irreversible condition remains to be extremely limiting. But I have built up my spiritual muscles through prayer, fasting, reading and meditating on the Word of God, and activating that same word in my life. This is not a cake walk and everyday is a challenge but I encourage you to learn how to lean and depend on God. Give your whole heart to the Lord and he will give you the strength to pick up the pieces of the life you once knew and create something beautiful.
